Just another WordPress weblog

snow of Feb 2011 (10)Hey folks. February is just about over and boy what a month it has been.  Record breaking temperatures, snow and ice.  We had over 100 hours of highs in the 20’s  and lows in the teens with wind chill below 0.  Anything that could freeze, did.  We lost water to the barn for a few days, but the outside water troughs are heated, so we bundled the horses up and left them out for those nights we didn’t have water in the barn.  Not bad, they have plenty of great Cross K hay and good shelter.  We are truly glad to see those couple of weeks gone.  Our stock tank/pond froze hard enough to ice skate on.  We had fun playing with the dogs on the ice with Padre’s frizbee . It’s very pretty now, highs running way over normal….go figure. Elizabeth’s shoulder is doing good and has gone back to riding, lightly for now, but just in time for show season which will kick off next month. It won’t be long before I’ll be out spreading fertilizer again, looking forward to another great hay crop. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Trails, and God Bless. Kilroy and Lizsnow of Feb 2011 (6)

Welcome To Our Site

We have our web site up and running, and you're invited for cowboy coffee or a beer, as much as you want! Come on in and look around, share our lives and look at our photo’s of all the past times that shape us and keep us on our toes. We never forget the friends we have made over the years and the incredible times we have enjoyed sharing our lives with them.

When Elizabeth and I are asked what we love most about our life together, our answer is always the same. It’s God, our family, and the friends we share it with: you, the guests, the celebs, Willie, and all the gang that color our world and bless us with their grace.

Keep in touch, you never know where we will turn up at, usually on horseback, always with a smile and time for you and all the gang that make our life so joy filled.

Best Regards,

Kilroy & Elizabeth
