Eddie Kilroy

Just another WordPress weblog

Hey Folks…

We are still waiting on our agent to find the show a home.  It will, we are learning a lesson on “patience”.  It’s a great show and it will land somewhere.

Last week end we were honored to be the guest of “Red Bull” at Texas Motor Speedway’s Nascar  race. It was a great experience….going into the garage area, being in the pits during the race and of course, the great hospitality tent of Red Bull’s was a plus.  Great food and all the Red Bull you could drink….Kilroy was stepping tall in the saddle!  Our producer, Matt Wallace and Shaun went with us and took some really great pictures.  I have them posted under “Texas Motor Speedway 2009″ or you can go to “Facebook” and search “Eddie Kilroy” and there you will find over 30 great pictures.  As we were leaving, we walked past the ZZ Top Camero Pace Car….just sitting there, unlocked, and you know who just had to open the door and get in….Kilroy of course.   I left the scene, as I knew trouble was about to happen, and I didn’t want to be part of it, but nothing happened except some great shots of Kilroy in the pace car.  Only he would do that.

On a somber note, this was a sad week here at the ranch.  My 31 year old, Steeler, that I’ve had since he was two, had to be put down.  He is buried here at the ranch and Kilroy welded a horse shoe cross for his grave marker.  It’s hard giving up our beloved pets, but it’s why God lets us live longer, so we can take care of them and do what’s right when that time comes.  I will miss him.

God Bless Each Of You,

Elizabeth and Kilroy

Welcome To Our Site

We have our web site up and running, and you're invited for cowboy coffee or a beer, as much as you want! Come on in and look around, share our lives and look at our photo’s of all the past times that shape us and keep us on our toes. We never forget the friends we have made over the years and the incredible times we have enjoyed sharing our lives with them.

When Elizabeth and I are asked what we love most about our life together, our answer is always the same. It’s God, our family, and the friends we share it with: you, the guests, the celebs, Willie, and all the gang that color our world and bless us with their grace.

Keep in touch, you never know where we will turn up at, usually on horseback, always with a smile and time for you and all the gang that make our life so joy filled.

Best Regards,

Kilroy & Elizabeth
