Well Folks,

The shooting of the two hour pilot for the TV show filmed at “Willie’s Place” at Carl’s Corner Texas is now over. It was months in the planning, but with the help of a great production company,”Mustang International” and their crew, plenty of lights, camera’s and of course the gang at “Willie’s Place Truck Stop”, I think it was a great shoot.   We had a great time even though we were in make up and wardrobe from 1:00 in the afternoon until midnight.  Willie’s Place was packed with standing room only and the dance floor was crowded with every song.  And what great dancers there were!  Mickey Gilley, Charley Pride, Ron Williams, Susie Dobbs and the up and coming new 5 girl group “Mustang Sally” all played their heart out and were as usual….great.

Elizabeth and I had great visits with each of the artists, some in the Whiskey River Saloon and some in the Blue Skies Cafe.  We’re not sure how Charley Pride took it when Thomas Saunders came riding his horse into the Whiskey River Saloon  just to meet Charley.  That was fun.

As soon as we have access to the pictures that were taken, we’ll post them.  There were so many, but we’ll make room for as many as we can.

It will be 30-45 days of post production before we have the DVD to send to our agent in Hollywood, Ca. to find it a home.  We will keep you posted of anything new as it happens.

Until then, Happy Trails and God Bless each of you!

The TV crew started setting up their lights and gear yesterday afternoon, preparing for Kilroy’s filmed visit with Willie at Willie’s Place, which will be the home for the Kilroy Show.  Early in the evening Kilroy and Willie started at the bar in the Whiskey River Saloon to start what ended up being 2 hours of Willie & Kilroy exchanging stories of past & present great Texas Honky Tonks and close mutual friends like Roger Miller, Faron Young, Webb Pierce, Bob Wills and others.  They spent time in the dance hall and then on to the walk of fame.

These clips will be inserted in small bites through out the show, which is still on schedule for the 25th.

The tickets are now available on Willie’s Place Truck stop web site ….  williesplacetheater.com   There is a limited number, so get yours early.

See you there.

Hey Guys and Gals,

Well, we have a date set for the TV Show’s Pilot. It will be June 25th in the evening at the great” Willie’s Place “dance hall,  Whiskey River Saloon and truck stop at Carl’s Corner, Texas.

Mike Siler and his band will be the resident band. Mike will be a regular on The Kilroy Show. As well as doing his own music, the band will often back guest artist.

Mickey Gilley and Charley Pride will be the guest for the first show. Ron Williams and Susie Dobbs have been added.

There will be a limit of 300 people. The dance floor will be open for a lot of dancing. We’re hoping for some great dancers to show up. MAKE PLANS TO BE THERE AND SHOW EVERYONE WHAT A “HONKY TONK” IS ALL ABOUT!

Tickets will be $15.00 a piece to cover cost of clean up and security. The tickets will be available soon at Willie’s Place truck stop.

Keep in mind that this is a “Pilot”. This pilot will be given to my agent in Ca. to find a home for it with, hopefully, one of the network channels. It will take a few months to air. We will post the place and time when that happens.

Come early and check out Willie’sBlue Skie’s Cafe”.  The food is great …. my favorite place to eat.

We have our web site up and running, and you're invited for cowboy coffee or a beer, as much as you want! Come on in and look around, share our lives and look at our photo’s of all the past times that shape us and keep us on our toes. We never forget the friends we have made over the years and the incredible times we have enjoyed sharing our lives with them.

When Elizabeth and I are asked what we love most about our life together, our answer is always the same. It’s God, our family, and the friends we share it with: you, the guests, the celebs, Willie, and all the gang that color our world and bless us with their grace.

Keep in touch, you never know where we will turn up at, usually on horseback, always with a smile and time for you and all the gang that make our life so joy filled.

Best Regards,

Kilroy & Elizabeth
